Fun Facts
One passion people learn about me is that I love Deep-Sea Fishing. In my spare time, you will find me fishing in the Gulf of Mexico or studying about what's the biggest fish ever caught in Texas. I am the middle child of nine siblings. Although, I may be a terrible singer, I enjoy singing in the car or singing a child's spelling words. Someday in the near future, I want to create a singing video.
About Me
I graduated from college in 2010 in Business Management with a specialization in Information Technology and Project Management. All through college, I maintained a GPA of 4.0 and was on both the President and Deans list multiple times.
Experience
As a member of Golden Key Honors Society, I had the opportunity to tutor struggling students in all subjects during both my Bachelors and Master degrees program. As a member of the college' ambassador of leadership program, I mentor and tutor three students for a year. I volunteered my time teaching people graphic art design on social media, as well as volunteering my time to teach young children math and reading.
Approach
As a tutor, I attempt to make learning fun! Creating a positive environment and giving encouragement and praise often. Each student has a unique potential to reach their highest educational level. As a tutor, I hope to help each student reach their true potential. I will not give students answers, however, I will show them effective techniques they learn to discover and learn themselves.

My Bachelors in Business Management in which I maintained a GPA of 4.0. I was required to take subjects in accounting; such as accounting principles, managerial accounting, cost accounting, information systems and financial accounting. In all accounting classes the two main subjects accounting students needs to know are the International Financial Reporting Systems (IFRS) and the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Business Tutoring
Most students in business have no clue to what subjects needs to be taken. I took subjects like organizational behavior, principles to marketing, and management and leadership. All these courses a person does much reading and writing notes. As a student, I enjoyed some of these subjects and other subjects I could not wait to pass the class. Am I saying some of these classes are boring, Yes! However, you are in luck, I kept all my notes and I can help you learn them too!
College Algebra Tutoring
I often wondered while growing into an adult, would I ever use college algebra. The answer is yes! In cooking for example, you have to solve so many problems. For instead. you have to apply algebraic reasoning to measure food effectively. Just like me, I had to learn and develop skills in linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions, In college after studying hard and taking the words "No" and Can't" out of my vocabulary, I aced all math subjects and you can too!
Homework Coach Tutoring
My ultimate goal as a high school homework coach is to focus on study skill techniques. The study skills are time-management is the student using his/her time wisely. Organization and goal-setting are important as well as assisting the overall academic success of the student.
Algebra Tutoring
My experience in tutoring middle school algebra are in grades fifth through eighth grade. Terms include: fraction concepts, comparisons, conversions, whole numbers, and number theory.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
My experience in tutoring students of all ages pre algebra is learning a sneak preview of what is to be learn in algebra, Most of my students, say pre algebra is fun and simple to learn from someone who understands it. Pre algebra takes adding and subtracting to the next level.
Arts Tutoring
Elementary Arts is one of my favorite subjects to tutor. We can design and make art out of anything. A student does not need colors and crayons. With a vivid imagination and a few things such as drinking straws, dry pasta, and other items, a art masterpiece is born!
Graphic Design Tutoring
As one of my hobbies, I designed a art class on social media, Facebook to be exact teaching people across the globe graphic design. I love using the effects of any art class such as; the weakest or strongest color, the light, or adding light to a design. In college, I took the required art principles class and mainly stuck with the business classes until I finished school. While taking care of a sick relative in my spare time, I begin teaching graphic design! It would be my honor to teach you as well!
