Fun Facts

I am a face painter for children's parties and events. I enjoy crafting, painting and writing. I participate in both a crafting club, in which we scrapbook, make cards and other crafty projects and a writing club, in which we read, discuss and workshop original writing pieces. I am a full time Kindergarten teacher and a nanny to four year old twins during the summer months. I love to read, go to the beach, watch movies and work with kids!

About Me

I am a full time Kindergarten teacher. I have been teaching in the elementary school setting for seven years. I attended Rutgers University and graduated with a BA in Psychology and certifications in Elementary Education K-5 and education/new-jersey/new-jersey">Special Education Pre-K-12. During the summer I am a full time nanny to four year old twins.

Experience

I have been teaching for seven years in a public school district. I have taught Kindergarten for three years, but have experience in grades Pre K-4. I have experience in ESL, bilingual and education/new-jersey/new-jersey">special education classrooms. My classroom is comprised of both general and education/new-jersey/new-jersey">special education students. During the summer, I am a full time nanny to four year old twins.

Approach

I encourage a multi sensory, student-centered approach to authentic learning through discovery, interactive activities/experiences and fun! I foster critical thinking skills that will benefit students across subjects areas for the duration of their educational career and into their adult lives.
