Fun Facts
Some of my interest include outdoor activities, movies, science-fiction, and writing. I am the youngest of four brothers, and I have 2 adorable dogs. Sadly I have never skydived before, but am eager to give it a try some time. My ideal state is Nevada because of the heat, and my dream is to produce films based on my writings. Overall I am a pretty interesting guy.
About Me
I am a senior Biotech major at the University of Kansas. Through out my 4 years of college I have retained a above 3.5 GPA. My goals include acquiring a job working at a local biotech company in the KC area. Ideally it would be based around animal or human health science, but i have also found interest in agriculture science. I do hope to go back to school later for my doctrine in hopefully genetics or immunology. In the end I hope to be a genetic therapist.
Experience
While attending JCCC and KU I have assisted a number of fellow classmates studying confusing material. Majority of my tutoring has been with math and chemistry, but i have also helped with reviewing and revise papers in writing classes. So for the last 4 years I have had a variety of students come to me for help, and some of which I got to tutor for semester long courses.
Approach
As a child, i too needed help from a tutor to succeed in school. I discovered much from my tutors as they presented the knowledge to me in simplified structures. The skills i acquired have been beneficial throughout my whole schooling experience. Most people i find that are struggling only do so because the knowledge is not being presented properly to them. My teaching method is to simplify the subject so that the student understands it clearly, and to go at a comprehensive pace
