If you speak to my family and friends they would describe me as an outdoor enthusiast that strives for the best. I snow ski and ice climb during the winter season and rock climb during the summer years. I am the friend that likes puzzles and figuring out problems. I am the youngest in my family of scientists and engineers.

About Me

I am a Sr. Engineering Project Manager for Gibson Guitars, Inc. I graduated from Purdue University. I work hard and always eager to learn. I am certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA). I am now currently studying for my Fundamental Engineering (FE) exam to eventually apply for my Professional Engineering license.

Experience

Studying as a mechanical engineer my main focus was math. I was taught by professors that did not believe in calculators so we would get a better understanding how problems functioned. In my professional career as a project manager/engineer, I do math everyday to calculate thermodynamics and heat stress of equipment.

Approach

I am a visual learner. Things need to be written out for me to fully understand the equation. I am one who takes time to go through the small steps. If I have trouble with a problem, I don't give up. There are certain math skills and tricks I have obtained over the years that really help me and will help you too.
