Fun Facts

Outside of school, I love to spend time with my loved ones. People often tell me that I put myself before others, which is a strength and weakness of mine. Also, I love to enjoy nature. There is so much to see and do for free on this beautiful Earth! My fiancé and I travel when we get a chance. I have visited many states as well as countries of the world.

About Me

I started college at the University of North Florida and completed my Bachelors of Science in Biology degree at New Jersey City University. Currently, I am studying for the OAT, the entrance exam requirement for optometry school, which consists of four parts: Natural Sciences, Physics, reading-comprehension/new-jersey/jersey-city">Reading Comprehension, and Quantitative Reasoning. I cannot wait to get accepted into optometry school! My goal is to open my own optical practice.

Experience

In the past, I helped my younger brothers with their academic studies. For English related assignments, we would brainstorm ideas together. For math problems, I would guide them to the correct answers. When a problem was complicated, I would work out the problem first and then explain the process to avoid confusions.

Approach

I would continue to use the techniques I used in the past. I would also incorporate new techniques that I learned from my personal tutors in college such as give encouragement and apply real life scenarios to homework problems. Throughout my schooling, I always appreciated encouragement from anyone and everyone. I believe that every bit of encouragement makes a huge impact mentally.
