Then, I proceeded to go to graduate school at Drexel University, where I studied Human Resources Development. I have recently received my Masters of Science in September 2013, with a GPA of 3.96. During my undergraduate and high school years, I participated in volunteer programs and clubs and I always chose to enroll in the philadelphia">tutoring openings. I tutored either one child consistently or a variety of children whenever necessary. My primary focus was philadelphia">tutoring elementary and middle school aged children and helping them complete each subject for which they have homework assigned. Also, I have young family members that I have spent considerable time with trying to get through some difficult subject work that a high school student encounters.

I think patience has become my mantra when philadelphia">tutoring because true understanding of a topic or subject can only happen when the student is given ample chance to comprehend, focus, and gain firsthand experience with said topic or subject. If there are specific problems, I like to take one thing at a time and make certain that each issue is tackled and explained before there is any progression. Additionally, I believe in authentic support in that whenever the student is having trouble understanding something, it is vital that the student is assured that I am there and backing her/him in any way possible. Also, it is important that some kind of relationship is established between the student and philadelphia">tutor so that learning is not hindered and so that the student feels completely comfortable.
