Fun Facts
I've performed comedy improv and did some acting work in the past. I also raise vegetables on my back porch, do crossword puzzles and origami (not at the same time) and also perform some magic tricks (again, not at the same time). I play Dungeons and Dragons on a regular basis as well as other strategy boardgames. I could be a member of the Big Bang Theory cuz I like a lot of nerdy subjects :)
I like to stay active and healthy. I like to work out by running, weightlifting, biking & volleyball.
About Me
I am a quality assurance analyst for the IT division of a French investment and commercial bank, running simulation trading tests with client trading software for online trading of futures, equities, and options. Prior to that, I worked as an IT auditor, doing IT security assessments..
I attended Northwestern University for my undergraduate degree and studied economics and history. Then I went to DePaul University to obtain my MBA in Finance and MS in Information Systems.

Experience
I have a bachelors in economics and history. I also have an MBA in Finance and an MS in Information Systems. I also continue to take online courses in Python and other programming languages. I also have taken courses in comedy improv and performed comedy improv on stage, so I have experience in teaching presentation and public speaking skills.
Approach
I take a patient approach using easy-to-understand, simple language in teaching complex concepts. I use a lot of fun, weird analogies to get my point across :)
My father was an English teacher and tutored me when I was in school in both English as well as mathematics. I've learned alot from him on what it takes to be a good teacher: being patient, asking questions about what is giving students the most problems about their studies, and doing practice exercises of varying difficulty with them.
