About Me
I am a graduate of houston">the houston">University of Houston - Downtown with a bachelors degree in Education. I am also an elementary school teacher certified from early childhood to sixth grade with an ESL supplement.
Experience
With 7+ years of private tutoring experience I also have multiple experiences of teaching in the education field. From elementary, teaching abroad and even college level instruction I have found my diverse background in education to be helpful in helping students of all ages, levels and backgrounds. I have also taken in part in many professional development opportunities in teaching methods. content, working with special populations, as well as test preparation.
Approach
When working with students I have found that creating a realistic and positive environment is the best way to create results. It is also important to me that I ensure that the content I am giving my student is not only relevant but also rigorous. This approach allows my students to be continuously engaged while setting further expectations once they meet their previous goals.
