Fun Facts

I know Kung Fu. Technically. Tai Chi is the first stage of Kung Fu. I can't use it to defeat anyone in hand to hand combat, but I do use it to center my mind and body before I go to bed.

Also, I play Jazz guitar to unwind. I most admire guitarist Wes Montgomery, and also Jimmy Page.

About Me

I am a solopreneur, Wordpress web site developer, writer/blogger and my girlfriend jokes that I am "working on The Matrix." If it helps others learn and adapt better, then I want to help design it.

In college, I tutored elementary and middle-school students reading and math, part-time for two years. As first-year music theory student of the year (that is a real honor), I tutored my peers in music theory. After college, I taught Enlglish to Ecuadorean University students for a year.

If my students can learn how to take tests, they will be set in academia. If students can learn to be self-directed lifetime learners, they will be set for life. My purpose is not only to help people become as wicked smart as they can be, but also to understand why they care. Before I illuminate a subject, I help students discover why it is relevant to their lives.
