I love to read! I will always be with a book, and currently I am reading Game of Thrones, as epics are my current favorite. I love to travel too, and am going to Japan soon.
About Me
I have my associates degree from Northern Virginia Community College, and am looking to transfer to St. Louis Madrid in Spain for my bachelors in Political Science. I have had straight A's since Freshman year in high school, and have been on the deals list. I love school, and I love teaching and tutoring, I am a quick learner, so I can teach nearly anything once I look at it and teach it to myself.
Experience
I have been tutoring students in Spanish since Junior Year in High school as part of the National Spanish Honor Society. I have tutored others through my college in English and Writing. I have worked at YMCA and tutored elementary-school aged students in their homework after school.
Approach
I like to connect to each of my students, (if they're younger and will benefit from the positive relationship in correlation with school work). I also believe that having the student teach the material back to the tutor is very beneficial and I will be using that technique. Other techniques based on learning styles will definitely be used as well!

Liberal Arts
English Tutoring
I have taken ENG 111 & 112 in college, and received A's in both. I will be minoring in English and Writing. I used to tutor students out of the class room, and my professor would sometimes not let me answer questions to give other students a chance.
International Studies Tutoring
I have taken an International Relations Course, Intercultural Communications, and History courses. My major is International Relations. I have also been an ambassador for a State Department study abroad program, and have spoken as a representative to Congress concerning issues in this field.
Spanish I Tutoring
I have been taking Spanish since elementary school, and took SPA 101, 102, 201, 202 in college. I have communicated myself through Honduras, better than my companion who was a Spanish major at the time. I am best at reading and writing.
Writing Tutoring
I have taken writing courses in high school and college, and have received high marks in them. I am minoring in writing and intend to become a part-time writer.
Algebra Tutoring
Taken algebra 1 and 2 in high school. Teacher had me tutor other classmates when she was busy. Full A’s.
Algebra II Tutoring
Taken algebra 1 and 2 in high school. Teacher had me tutor other classmates when she was busy. Full A’s.
AP English Tutoring
I have taken both AP literature and AP. I really developed my essay writing in these classes and broaden my knowledge of literature. I am minoring in English and literature and pursuing a career in writing.
Geography Tutoring
I was good at geography lessons and tests in history classes. I take geography quizzes in my free time. I am majoring in international relation so I must know my figures.
Geometry Tutoring
This is my best math subject, I received A’s on every test and assignment in high school. I enjoy it and would teach it with joy.
Government Tutoring
I am majoring in political science degree and I consume political media in my free time. I am going to school for this subject and will be able to help those in lower division courses
History Tutoring
I nearly majored in History, due to my love and passion for it. I am best with ancient civilization history and colonial history, as I grew up in Virginia. I am versed in California history, spending time here every year and being from a major history-loving family
Physics Tutoring
Physics is my favorite science. I took physics in college and self taught all the material. I received better than average grades and am passionate about ohysics.
Pre Algebra Tutoring

Psychology Tutoring
I received a AP score of 5, and my teacher said “of course you did” when he saw the results. I nearly majore din psychology and continue to read and write about it today.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I read about 500 pages a day and study literature for mechanics. I have received above average grades in all English and reading classes since elementary school. I am well suited for this.
Religion Tutoring
I take an interest in studying religion, and have spent time abroad studying religions like Hinduism and Buddhism.
Science Tutoring
In general science terms I do well, I have received mainly A’s in these subjects and can help with geology, biology, physics, etc.

I am a devout studded and have used many skills throughout my student career. I look forward to helping the student learn what best for him/her!
