I am currently a preceptor for the Department of Physiology at The University of Arizona and teach the lab as well as hold office hours for Anatomy and Physiology 1. I have all my notes from when I took this course and I still use them when helping others understand complex concepts through the use of easy to remember flow charts, diagrams, etc.

Tutored more than 20 students in algebra. This class can become overwhelming for students because it all builds on top of itself and if you don't have a foundational understanding it seems impossible to figure out but I can assure you it is not. Its all about how you are taught it. We use algebra in our lives all the time and don't even know it. I can help break it down and help students actually understand it and love the way they feel once it finally clicks.

Microbiology Tutoring

This course is without a doubt the most difficult for a lot of students. I was completely freaked out when I first started too but you CAN get an A! There is an unbelievable amount of material covered but with a few tips and tricks you can show this class who is boss. I ended up loving microbiology by the end of the course. I can help you simplify the material and prepare you for lab as well. Microscopes can be tricky and a lot of the time the samples you are viewing are contaminated so identifying which is which is crucial to you grade. Under a microscope the pictures in your notes may not exactly match up but I can definitely explain these concepts to you and help you get an A!

Homework Coach Tutoring

Being a Premed student I understand how overwhelming and scary having so many assignments due within a weeks span or even a day. I have mastered the completion of homework all due to altering the way I used my time. The trick is to plan out your week and stick to it! I like to change due dates of things to be a day before that way I know I will have them done and cramming right before is eliminated. This has helped me be able to really learn subjects for future use and retain information!

Pre Algebra Tutoring

This is a course you want to really understand that way going into algebra you have the upper hand. I enjoy making the connections of concepts simple for students. I have tutored tons of students on algebra 1&2 so I can help with techniques that till not only get you the A you want and need but help you feel ready for upper division math courses rather than nervous. Its all about building up that foundation and together we get make it happen!

Elementary Math Tutoring

It is so important to show students when they are young that math is not impossible and they can do it. Bad experiences with math courses lead to students feeling hopeless when it comes to taking math courses in the future. Lets make sure that isn't an option. I can help make math seem so simple because it really can be, it all comes down to the way you are taught and engaging the student. I like to relate it to real life things and interests of the student that way they can make the connection easily simply because it has been simplified to something they already know and understand with confidence!
