One passion people quickly learn about me is that I take pride in displaying my skills in essay editing and writing. I strive to help students learn the correct verbiage, sequence and content of an essay to ultimately earn the best grade possible. I love writing which is why I am currently writing my first autobiography. I truly believe that an individual is more likely to excel in something they are the most interested in.
About Me
I am a tutor and recent college graduate from Chicago State University with a BS in Business. I've excelled especially in Communications and English, earning A's in both English Composition 1&2 and also CMAT Speech courses. My ultimate goal is to become a full time tutor and Non for profit Business owner.
Experience
As a mentor and tutor at an after school program called Wytec (West side Youth Tech Entrepreneur Center) beginning my sophomore year of high school on through my junior year in college, I've had the opportunity to learn about a variety of students and their specific talents and abilities educationally. Over time I've developed a passion for teaching and learning. I was motivated and inspired by these students especially seeing their progress and growth personally and in education.
Approach
As a child, I've experienced neglect which caused lack of interest and poor grades. Being that i understand personally what every child needs to excel in education, i will apply this specific strategy as a tutor to insure progression in school. As a tutor, my attitude will continuously be positive, caring and considerate to bring out the students full potential.

Learning effective communication skills requires the ability to listen and implement effective strategies of proficient communication.

Having earned A's in both English Composition 1&2 Courses while attending Indiana Institute of Technology, I've developed a professional skill level in writing and composition. As I continued my education at Chicago State, I'd always earn excellent grades on essays. Patience, interest and understanding is the best strategy for being a homework coach. Displaying the fun side of learning will influence elementary school students to do homework. Learning and emphasizing their personal interest in their homework assignments. The key is to draw those interest and implement those attractions in every homework/study session to produce the best results.
