I am an avid chess and poker player. Reading is my favorite activity in life. I have 3 biological siblings and 3 step siblings. I have never owned a dog, but I will soon! My first dog is going to be an English Bulldog.

About Me

I completed my undergraduate degree at Metropolitan State denver">University of Denver. I graduated Magna cum laude with a 3.92 cumulative GPA. Behavioral science was my focus area. I am currently enrolled in the Master of Public Policy program at the denver">University of Denver.

I was a supplemental instructor at Metropolitan State denver">University of Denver in 2011. I tutored 20 students during the semester; I helped them hone their study skills and constantly evaluated their psychology knowledge. Study habits and time management were the skills I focused the most on since they are critical skills for academic success.

As a denver">tutor at Metropolitan State denver">University of Denver I focused on interaction and participation from the students in my study sessions. Student participation is one of the best ways to keep students engaged, and it also is a great way to build rapport with students. I utilized flashcards, mock tests, and q & a sessions to evaluate students' progress and help them absorb some of the more challenging material.
