Fun Facts
One thing that you should know about me it that above all else I love to read. I have multiple bookcases filled to the brim and I can't seem to stop buying more. I never go anywhere without a book. I have an older sister and I love visiting her in Ohio.
About Me
I currently teach 1st grade at an amazing elementary school. I have a Dual License K-8 in General Education and K-12 in education/new-mexico/albuquerque">Special Education which I received from UNM in 2015. My goal is to get my Masters in General Education and education/new-mexico/albuquerque">Special Education.
Experience
I have been tutoring students for a few years. The students I tutor are young elementary students and I use the local libraries for the sessions. I am excited to work for Frog Tutoring to tutor even more students.
Approach
I used to absolutely hate to read, my parents used to bribe me to do my nightly reading. That was until a teacher realized that it wasn't my lack of reading skills but the type of books I was reading. From then on my passion for reading grew. I had a teacher who inspired me and told me that there are different ways to learn and that was okay. I want to help students learn in the best way that works for them.
