AP English Tutoring

Reading and critical analysis of imaginative literature. Through the close reading of selected texts, to deepen the understanding of the ways writers use language to create meaning. The course also included a study of representative works from different genres, periods, and cultures and authors.

Homework Coach Tutoring

Assisting the student with their homework and educational needs. The goal is build a relationship and a confidence with the student to be able to do the work independently without second guessing themselves. I also implement creative activities before and after the homework session to keep the student engaged.

SAT Verbal/Writing Tutoring

I concentrate on preparing the student to use critical thinking and process of elimination skills while testing. I use SAT/ACT/EOCT test prep booklets, materials and I also use mock test practices with the student to build confidence and to give the student an idea of what to expect while testing .

Video Production Tutoring

At Albany State I majored in Mass Communications and my concentration is Electronic Media which focused on radio television and film, the fundamentals and theory of communications, public opinion and propaganda. I teach my students the process of digital media by creating a video by capturing moving images, and creating combinations and reductions of parts of this video in live production and post-production.
