The patience to go over the topic over and over again until the student gets it and the diligence to go about it in several different ways for them to get because some students might be visual learners or even auditory learners. Tutors should adjust to their students' learning styles in order for an effective session. Also it is important to ask the student questions that will invite them to explore their own thoughts and ensure learning.
