ESL Tutoring

I have taught and tutored many students in English as a Second Language for four years from 2013 - 2017 at an high school level as well as adulthood. Majority of my student were very successful and improved in speaking English. They were able to finish school, get good jobs and promotions because their English language became sufficient in reading, writing and speaking. I enjoyed seeing my students accomplish so much for themselves.

Homework Coach Tutoring

My mission as a homework coach is to help a student's overall academic success as opposed to providing remedial instruction in a specific subject. In the past I have been hired as a homework coach when their child is struggling in school not because they have difficulties with the academic material but because of problems with study skills, organization, executive function skills and motivation. My goal as coach is to teach the child to become a successful student by learning to plan assignments, organize materials, manage time effectively I assist the student in learning ways to manage.

English Tutoring

I love English so working as an English tutor allows me to assist students in grammar and writing skills; I also work with students in analyzing texts and reading classic works of literature, like Shakespeare. You need at least a Bachelor's degree and a license to teach in a Chicago Public School. I accomplished those goals 15 years ago.

I've been helping students earn better grades and higher test scores since the 1990's. I know that strong grades are the foundation for success in middle school education and beyond, and for that reason I offer my tutoring support for almost every middle and high school student that I have came in contact with if they showed any signs of difficulties. My goal is to make sure each student will be succeeding at or above grade level in all math subjects.

However I learned better time management, more efficient reading strategies, and effective study habits and this improved my overall success in all my content areas. So I definitely be an asset in assisting any and all students in learning how to create, enhance and demonstrate improved study skills.
