Fun Facts
A favorite hobby of mine for the longest time has been competitive swimming. I swam from middle school all the way to my first semester in college DII. I love traveling and hope to travel across the world someday!
About Me
I am a current student at my local college Moraine Valley. I am pursuing nursing at the moment. My end goal is to attend Rush University and graduate with a doctoral degree for nursing. I played ultimate frisbee for a season in college, and look forward to playing for my college's volleyball and softball teams this upcoming year!
Experience
As a member of my National Honor Society organization at my high school, I tutored math and science for 2 years (junior and senior years). Once I went off to college, I tutored calculus and middle school math for a small school as member of a math club that got together every Saturday. I have always enjoyed tutoring several subjects at a variety of levels. Being able to partner with Frog Tutoring gives the ability to continue striving to positively influence the learning progress.
Approach
Growing up, I would say I was a smart kid who didn't have a lot of guidance with learning. When I got to middle school, I became inspired by one of my algebra teachers. He had dyslexia, a reading disorder, as a child but did not allow this to stand in his way of prospering as a student. This motivated me going into high school and ever since then I have developed tremendous organizational skills, study skills, note taking skills and a drive for learning. As a tutor, I want to challenge students.
