I am an ex college basketball player and currently own my own company that promotes artists and entrepreneurs. I also built an app that is on the Apple app store and I am a published author.

About Me

I am a 4th year science/georgia/atlanta">computer science major at Kennesaw State University with a background in tutoring. I have made the deans list 2 years in a row and graduate next year. I have been a tutor for the last 4 years while balancing school and my own business. My ultimate goal is to run my company full time and make an impact in the world of art and technology. I would also love to perform my poetry on a national stage.

Experience

In my first year of college at Berry College I had the opportunity to teach english to Spanish speaking children. Since then I have worked as a tutor in Johns Creek tutoring English, Mathematics and Writing, with an emphasis on Mathematics. I love teaching and expanding the knowledge of my clients as well as helping them grasp concepts they previously struggled with.

Approach

I believe I have a gift on connecting with people and this helps when tutoring to create a fun and productive environment. I learn what my students struggle with and how they best learn while figuring out how to best connect with them. Being a versatile person myself I can always find something on which me and a student can connect. I like to push my students and extend their comfort zone without being overwhelming. I also use different methods of explanation when teaching each concept.
