I love cooking! Creating something my own is a truly satisfying experience. Cooking for me is an art (as I major in Art History this is a major concern of mine ;) ) and I always cook something for my own even when I'm alone at home! I'm good at cooking Chinese food and Italian food, some French and Korean dishes. I love food from around the world.

About Me

I am a senior year university student in UCLA majoring in Art History and French. I was born and raised in Shanghai, China, a great city with international diversity and rich cultural background. I wish to pursue my graduate study in Europe, probably in France or in the UK.

Experience

I speak French and Chinese fluently. I am a native speaker in Chinese, and I started studying French since 10 years ago. I spent one year in France for my exchange program. I travel around the world frequently to know new cultures, and of course, new languages! I am currently studying Italian, so that I can explore the world more easily!

Approach

My philosophy is that if one wants to fully master a language, one must be immersed in the linguistic environment. For me this philosophy never fails! After entering an international high school, I mastered English. After taking classes fully in French for one year, I became very proficient in French! Thus, my tutor classes would be more interaction-communication based, supported by indispensable grammatical exercises. My classes would be fun, engaging, but at the same time, rigorous!
