One of my biggest passions includes journalism. In my free time I enjoy writing articles that pertain to politics or economics, particularly issues of war and poverty. I have written for numerous publications such as Antiwar.com and the Borgen Magazine.
About Me
I am a senior at the University of Massachusetts Boston. I have completed my political science degree and currently finishing my economics major. My ultimate goal is to become a professor while also focusing on research and writing.
Experience
Having younger siblings that I would constantly tutor, I’ve gained experience and skills in tutoring. I also tutor friends on my spare time, particularly when it comes to Spanish, since Spanish is my first language, I have an easy time teaching it to others.
Approach
Growing up I struggled to stay engaged in class, this forced me to learn the material at home by myself, evidently this made me much better at learning new material and making it stick, helping me find the best ways to comprehend what I needed to know for the course. I understand how difficult it is for students to learn the material in class, thus I am very dedicated to helping them in a way that best suit their needs, while also providing them with study skills to fully learn the material.

Political Science Tutoring
I have completed my bachelors in Political Science from UMass Boston. I have closely looked over the content for the Political Science/American Government course numerous times, so I am well aware of all the material. My passion for this subject and my extensive knowledge of the curriculum will allow me to be a great tutor. Having completed my bachelors in Political Science, I have taken all the political science courses required to finish the major.
Spanish I Tutoring
I regularly teach Spanish to my friends on my spare time. My experience helping college friends with their Spanish homework and preparing them for exams has improved my skills as a tutor. Moreover, since I am a native speaker, I have a very easy time teaching it to others.

Government Tutoring
In high school my government class turned out to be my favorite course, this is one of the factors that led me to choose political science as my major. I have looked over all the content for the Government course numerous times, so I am well aware of all the material. My passion for this course and my extensive knowledge of the curriculum will allow me to be a great tutor. Furthermore, I’ve completed my bachelors in Political Science from UMass Boston.
Math Tutoring
As an economics major, advanced math is required for the majority of my courses. Having received excellent grades in all my math classes will allow me to be a remarkable math tutor. Moreover, my experience teaching middle school math to my younger siblings (helping them with their homework and preparing them for exams) will ensure rapid improvements for those struggling to understand middle school math.

I have passed all my college History courses with excellent grades. In general, I really enjoy discussing and educating others about different historical events, specifically American history. I also really enjoyed taking all my history courses. I am particularly proficient at memorizing facts and events, likewise I can also provide clients with different study methods that will allow them to more easily memorize and conceptualize the material, enabling them to quickly excel in their social studies courses. I have finished my bachelors in political science, and the majority of the work completed in the major does overlap with the type of work required to pass the social studies courses.
Conversational Spanish Tutoring
Since I am a native speaker, I have a very easy time teaching Spanish. I regularly teach Spanish to my friends on my spare time; my experience helping them with their Spanish homework and preparing them for exams has improved my skills as a tutor. However, having conversations in Spanish only, has been the most beneficial for them, experiencing rapid improvements.
History Tutoring
