About Me

Currently, I an elementary principal of an urban school. With over 20+ years of experience I have worked in both suburban and urban districts. I treat every student like they are my own...with patience and care.

Experience

For the past 20+ years I have taught everything from elementary to college. In addition to working with students I have completed many projects with companies such as Catapult Learning, Larson Books, Achieve the Core and College Board.

Approach

I teach for conceptual understanding...not just the what but the why and how. As a Common Core expert, my goal is to move students from Concrete - Pictorial - Abstract.
