Fun Facts

A lot of my hobbies include working out, I like going to the gym, boxing, and doing insanity when I have the time. I am big on nutrition and being fit! Also, I really enjoy reading romance novels and watching romance movies as well. I am an only child and am BIG on family. My parents are my everything. I am a very social person and enjoy meeting and making new friends. Jokes are a must!

About Me

I am a senior at the University of Arizona and am a double-major in Family Studies and Human Development, and Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. I ultimately plan on working with pediatrics, in any way when I graduate. Graduate school is looking like a definite decision in my future. I have received Dean's List and Honorable Mention for my grades!

I worked with Academia Freedom tucson">tutoring children in elementary school on math, reading and writing. I currently work with Arizona Youth Partnership as part of Friendly Faces and tucson">tutor fourth and second graders with whatever material they are presented with in class.

First, I will have the child read the directions out loud to me and have them explain to me what they understood and what they didn't understand. Then, based off of that I will help the child understand what they need to do. I will give them examples and have one-on-one time with the child to solve the problem. Then, I allow them to work on the problem on their own and constantly check back to see if they are understanding it.
