Fun Facts
I am addicted to writing poetry. I started in the middle school and have been writing ever since. As a teacher, I appreciate the time off, because I get the chance to focus on my writing: it is like meditation to me.
About Me
I have always been in love with Mathematics. I majored in math in college and became an Algebra teacher. My dream is to hopefully encourage more people to invest in Math; the world around us is advancing at an unbelievable rate because of the Science Technology Engineering and Math that goes into it.
Experience
Since the 8th grade, I have been mentoring and tutoring others in math. I have a passion for helping others feel more confident in their abilities and reach their full potential. Teaching is such a dream of mine, the majority of the community service I do is related to tutoring and mentoring children.
Approach
Though I have always been good at math, I know the struggles the people face in relation to it. Because I know this, I am able to reach students where they are and get them where they need to be. I am all about growth. I am a firm believer that there is no such thing as perfection: Practice Makes Progress.

Mathematical Sciences
College Algebra Tutoring
I currently teach Algebra at the high school level. I help my colleague plan for his honors class, so teaching College Algebra would not be a big adjustment for me.
Algebra Tutoring
I have been teaching Algebra for three years now, so I can definitely continue to do so.

I am certified 7-12th, so I would be able to teach Algebra two since it is an extension of Algebra one.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
Because I teach Algebra , I know the prerequisite skills students need in Pre-Algebra. Because of this, I am able to set my students up to be successful.

With my math degree and teaching experience, I am able to teach a variety of problem solving techniques and skills.
