Fun Facts
I've walked along the Great Wall, climbed to the top of the Sacre Coeur, a taxi boat in Venice, attended a sermon at Westminster Abbey, seen the Grand Canyon at sunrise, got caught in a herd of sheep in New Zealand, and have seen so many beautiful places with the promise of more to come - and I hope to have a camera and book in hand wherever I go.
About Me
I moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA and have lived here since. After finishing my studies in English, I worked in the information technology departments on campus and later in entertainment. Currently, I'm a graduate student in the Moving Image Archive Studies at UCLA. Reading and movies have been a large part of my life since my earliest memories. I love watching and discussing movies, literature and non-fiction, and travel whenever I can. I've tutored adult literacy for the past year at the public library and have taught English while living abroad. My teaching style is methodical but casual - the important thing is to foster a relationship so that the student is comfortable and understands the material beyond wrong and right answers. After I receive my MA, I hope to continue my work in the moving image field by utilizing technology in preservation.
