Fun Facts

In addition to being a teacher, I am a stage and screen actor who is able to communicate with students through movies and television shows. A small bit of TV trivia goes a long way when brainstorming writing projects and kicking off essay subjects. Dogs are my passion and anytime a student wants to bring one along to join us I am all for it!

About Me

I am a Certified California Community College Teacher specializing in writing, reading, speaking and communications. I also work with students on comprehension and organization to prepare them for exams and graduation.

Experience

As an active tutor for high school and college students, I have discovered my background in assisting my 13 nieces and nephews, who were all home schooled in India as children, go through the high school and college experience, I was successful in getting them all into number one schools and graduate at the top of their class.

Approach

My approach to teaching is unique. I use my understanding of the struggle of student life since I have a Master's in Organizational Management which includes the science of behavior. I get to know each student prior to tutoring them through a Method Acting exercise which is both challenging and fun.
I work with each student on organization and comprehension throughout the tutoring sessions so they have confidence in their study skills in their future.
