Fun Facts
One passion people quickly find out about me is that I am extremely compassionate. I tend to always put other people first. I am the oldest of four kids. Some of my other passions include art, photography, kickboxing, singing, and just having fun with friends and family.
About Me
I am a freshman in college at Contra Costa College. I am working on my General Education. I plan to transfer to UC Berkeley and pursue a Bachelor's in Psychology. i also plan to get my Master's and specify in Clinical Psychology. My ultimate goal is become a therapist for teens and young adults.
Experience
As a kid, I was involved in Girl Scouts. Being in Girl Scouts really helped me with finding that compassion for other people within myself. I feel like working for Frog Tutoring will help me direct my compassion for other people into the best possible direction.
Approach
I grew up with a learning disability and understand how hard it can be to succeed in school. Fortunately, I had a few teachers who helped me through that. As a tutor, I try to bring patience, creativity, persistence, and positive encouragement to all of my sessions. I also try to bring new and creative ways to learn the content, so that learning can be a lot more fun!

English Tutoring
I have taken English in elementary school, middle school, and high school. It is one of my best subjects and I have always gotten straight A's in it. I tutored a client over the summer who needed help in English, and he improved a lot.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I have very good reading comprehension. Reading is actually one of my favorite things to do on the side. I tutored a client over the summer who needed help with reading comprehension, and he improved a lot.
Writing Tutoring
I have taken English classes, which encompass writing, in elementary school, middle school, and high school. It is one of my best subjects and I have always gotten straight A's in it. I tutored a client over the summer who needed help in English, specifically researching and writing essays, and he improved a lot.
Math Tutoring
Throughout school, I excelled at math, usually getting grades of A's. I got up to the level of Algebra II. Math is very interesting to me and I love to challenge myself.
Elementary Math Tutoring
As the oldest of four children, I grew up helping my younger siblings with their homework. Math was one of the subjects I helped them the most in. Math is interesting to me and I love a challenge.
Social Studies Tutoring
I was always a big fan of social studies as a kid. It was one of my favorite subjects that I also excelled at.
