Fun Facts

I've lived in Chicago for over 5 years, and was born here. I was once offered a job to work on a cruise ship as a server in Hawaii, but stayed in Chicago to finish my education. I would still love to study or work abroad at some point in the future. Skating and trapeze are my favorite sports to watch and even attempt, but I don't think I'll be in any shows soon.

About Me

I recently finished my BAS in Liberal Arts from chicago">University of Illinois at Chicago. Research, writing and critical analysis have been important skills throughout my time in college. I've worked as a server, chicago">tutor and courier, and these work opportunities have been challenging and rewarding ways to also explore the city. Along with meeting inspiring people and having flexibility through chicago">tutoring, helping people of all ages improve and succeed their academic goals has been the best part of this.

Experience

Providing as-needed study-help, guidance, and being available for support during the week are key for developing progressive results for the students I chicago">tutor. I've helped students in primary, secondary and higher education with study help, writing and learning assistance. I've seen students improve with my help in reading, writing and math. I hope to be a positive resource.

Approach

Providing study help, while being flexible and available for support throughout the week are ways I build upon chicago">tutoring sessions to develop consistency and progress. In college, I've learned the importance of getting as much help as I can when I need it for some of my own academic work, and will also seek and discuss possible resources that can be used to help my students.
