Fun Facts
I was born in Cameroon, and I am a native French speaker. I love to dance and listen to music, specifically Afrobeats. As someone who loves to travels, I make it a point to see a different country every year; for example, last year I visited Cuba and this year I will be heading to Bali.
About Me
I am a Drexel University Medical School, and I graduated from Tufts University with a health science degree. Science and math have always been my two favorite subjects growing up, and I have always excelled in those subjects. I am always eager to help people who have a harder time understanding those subjects because I want them to love it as much as I do.
Experience
Most of my volunteer experience has been within education. Throughout college, I worked with AmeriCorps Jumpstart, preparing preschoolers and elementary students for higher education. I also completed one year of AmeriCorps service, working as a tutor at a New York City Charter school. Although my passion is medicine, I am all about helping other people to achieve a higher education, and being a tutor allows me to guide them in that direction.
Approach
I have always struggled with English, because it isn't my first language, but I was fortunate enough to have people who believed in me and believed that I would succeed. Therefore, I am compassionate for other students like myself who may feel that they may never understand a topic. My goal is to support them and help them see that they can get through anything no matter the challenge.
