About Me
An epidemiologist who loves to teach new minds, about biology and math. I am currently a first-year Ph.D. student at the washington">University of Washington studying infectious diseases. I take great pleasure in promoting the sciences to young minds and fostering curiosity about our natural world.
Experience
As a Ph.D. student, I have taught college-level courses in Biology and Anthropology. Although the bulk of my experience lies within the math and sciences I have tutored students in Spanish as well( I am a native Spanish speaker) The type of students I have primarily worked with have been high school and college students, but I am open to working with younger students.
Approach
I personally believe that each student has a different learning style that is particular to each course subject. In my experience understanding each student's learning style will facilitate the learning process and produces noticeable results within that particulars students success. I use different techniques that range from visuals to written repetition.
