Fun Facts

I am a big TCU Horned Frog fan! I love to run and love to train for races. Shopping for candles that smell amazing is a favorite of mine. I enjoy reading a good book curled up in a blanket. I am an inspiring cook, but still working on that. I love to be outside and go camping!

About Me

I attend Texas Christian University and I am an Early Childhood Education Major. I have a 3.53 GPA. After college I hope to stay in the DFW area and become and elementary school teacher. I made the Dean's List last semester and I am on the executive team for TCU LEAPS, which is a campus wide day of service in our Fort Worth Community.

I use to babysit after school and assist with homework help, and this summer I did math practice with the children I was a nanny for. I am in elementary classrooms for 3 hours twice a week and consistently work with students to complete assignments and even write and teach lesson plans.

My tutoring approach is first off being patient with the student. I know from personal experience that sometimes it takes just thinking about a problem for a little while for the student to completely understand. I also try to ask the question in a different way. Building on what a child knows and going from there can help the student see it clearly.
