Fun Facts
I am on the club soccer team here at TCU. I played my whole life and would have played in college had I not been injured so often. I still love playing, and even better it keeps me active and gives me a healthy study break.
About Me
I am a junior Nursing major with a Spanish for Health Professionals Minor at Texas Christian University. I was an Anatomy and Physiology Teaching Assistant and was an Orientation Leader during the summer of 2018. When I graduate I plan to work in an ICU with hopes of returning to graduate school to pursue a license as a Nurse Anesthetist or Nurse Practitioner.
Experience
During high school I was a part of the Spanish Honors Society, which I became president of my senior year. I tutored students biweekly every week ranging from Spanish I-III. In high school I was a chemistry teaching assistant and as aforementioned I was a anatomy and physiology teaching assistant in the spring of 2019. While studying abroad in Spain, I also taught English to third graders at an elementary school in my city for 2 months.
Approach
I come from a family that is naturally intelligent. That is everyone except me. When I first had trouble in sixth grade math, my mo told me that I would learn skills that would make me a greater student than even the students who were smarter than me. Intelligence can be achieved through good habits, hard work, and creative perspectives. I hope to empower the students who feel behind and inferior to their peers. Learning to study is a process, and I would love to be a step in that process.
