I am a huge football fan. GO VIKINGS! I am the oldest of three children, so I was the "unofficial homework helper" growing up. I love to explore new areas of Arizona that I haven't seen yet and spend the nights in with my puppy.

About Me

I am a senior at Arizona State and am pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Finance. I have always been interested in International Business, so I am pursuing a Certificate in International Business as well. I have been on the Dean's List every year in High School as well as in my College career. Currently my GPA is a 3.61. After school my dream is to work with an international company that will allow me to travel abroad. I am interested in the financial side of Human Resources.

In high school I volunteered with local elementary schools to help develop their reading skills. We went to the schools once a week and read with 1st graders. My mother was a preschool/kindergarten teacher, and I would go into her class and help them with reading-comprehension/arizona/phoenix">reading comprehension and math skills as well. I love having the opportunity to help people learn!

I have always learned the best through doing rather than seeing, and that is my phoenix">tutoring approach. Rather than just showing how it is done, I think it is important to have the student apply what they have learned as they are learning it. Sometimes the concepts that stick the best with me are the ones that I made a mistake completing the first time. By making the mistake once, I remember it and avoid doing it again. It's okay to make mistakes! It is just important to learn from them and keep pushing forward. I like to motivate and encourage my students to promote educational success.
