I love sports and have been playing my whole life. I was born and raised in California, where I currently attend Sacramento State University. I have a younger sister.
About Me
I am a Communication Major at Sac State. I have been on the Deans list for two years straight (every semester at Sac State. I recently got accepted into the Master's program at Sac State where I start next fall. My end goal is to work in the sports industry and become an advisor on the subject of Terrorism as that is what I plan to focus on in the Master's program.
Experience
As the treasurer for Lambda Pi Eta, a national honor society with a branch at Sac State, I have a lot of experience working with students and have spent a lot of time helping others in the club to improve their studying techniques. I have also informally tutored friends in English over the past couple years.
Approach
School is something that has always come very easy to me, but putting out the effort necessary to get the grades I was capable of was something that hindered my ability to reach my true potential. Everything changed for me when I entered Sac State, where I have been on the Dean's Honor list every semester. I feel that I am in a place where I can help others to reach their full potential.

Communication
Communication Tutoring
I am a communication student at Sac State with straight A's in all communication classes I have taken. I recently got accepted into the Master's program at Sac State where I will study Communication starting in the Fall.
International Studies Tutoring
My focus in communication is intercultural communication, so I feel this gives me the ability to help others in the field of international studies.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
As a student entering the Masters Program, I feel that I have a high level of reading comprehension. More importantly, I feel that I have the ability to help others learn the skills I have undertaken in order to improve my ability to comprehend what I am reading.
Writing Tutoring
I recently took the GRE and helped tutor my friend in the writing section of the test, so I have recent experience tutoring writing for a high-level test. I feel that I can help simplify things for students to improve their writing and make it a less stressful experience.
English Tutoring
I am a communication student at Sacramento State and have been on the Dean's List every semester I've attended. the biggest challenge for students when it comes to subjects like English is not getting frustrated. I have the ability to help students strengthen their foundations in order to make them more confident in their abilities to write and read confidently.

I have taken multiple psychology classes, as that was my original major. Both my parents have their doctorates in psychology, which I feel has given me a lives worth of experience with the subject.

I recently helped tutor my friend for the writing section of the GRE which we both did really well on. I have many strategies that I feel will help prep students for any level of writing test.
