Fun Facts

I love to listen to J. Cole! He’s my favorite artist/rapper and I always rap to his music. I also have a dog named Bailey who’s pretty much my spoiled fur baby. Most people don’t know but I actually love to draw and paint. I like to use acrylic paint most because it’s the easiest for me.

About Me

I am a Junior at Sacramento State University. I am majoring in Communication Studies with a focus in Public Relations and minoring in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Administration. I hope to one day create a nonprofit organization that helps students pursue higher education.

Experience

As a mentor for College Assistance Migrant Program, I tutored and academically advised freshman students for their first year of college. I also instructed a class for freshman students for Educational Opportunity Program and guided them through their first semester of college. I love helping out students, it’s what makes me feel good; when I can offer my services to others.

Approach

I want to help students pursue higher education. It is something I am most passionate about. I want to help those who are struggling educationally and be a mentor for them, a tutor and a support system. I want to offer my services to students that need it and help them become successful in their educational career. This opportunity is something that will definitely help me do just that.
