I love to dance salsa. Listening to various different types of music is my therapy. I like to cook and my favorite dishes are rice/beans breaded steak and fried bananas.

About Me

I am a retired NYC public school teacher. I have I taught regular/special education throughout my career. I graduated from Manhattan college and received a B.S. degree in physical education. I attended the College of New Rochelle where I received a M.S. degree in education/new-york/new-york">special education, learning disabilities.

Experience

Teacher in NYC public schools for twenty years. I also taught in head start programs, day care centers and special needs schools.

Approach

I know how difficult it can be for students today to reach their potential especially with the availability of social media, nothing is private. As a tutor I will always assure my student that he/she is capable of achieving the goals they set for themselves. I will always encourage positive results and even though mistakes might be made we will correct them together. I will always make the student feel very comfortable when working with me as their tutor.
