Fun Facts

Something everyone knows about me is that I love football! It is my favorite sport and love watching and playing it. I played quarterback on my high school football team. I also love music, skiing, and playing video games!

About Me

I am currently a Sophomore at the University of Utah, I plan on majoring in BIology and then attending medical school. My dream job is to become an anesthesiologist!

Being an honors student my senior year in high school, I had the opportunity to tutor my friend in his calculus class. I also have tutored my brother who is in high school in his math and chemistry classes. Entering college has made me want to get back into teaching and helping people in certain subject areas (math, chemistry, biology).

In second grade I had a teacher who would get so angry if you asked her a question. This made me really tentative for many years to ask any of my teachers questions when I needed help. Through the years I have gotten better and better at asking questions and it has helped me in so many ways. I encourage the students I work with to ask lots of questions! Through positive encouragement and practice I will strive to help the students get all the answers to their questions. I plan to teach the students how to do the problems themselves and study techniques that will carry over into other subjects as well.
