I love to play frisbee, and one day I plan to try my hand at frisbee golf. I also like to play video games and read books in my spare time. I love Rock Music, and I have traveled to France, Italy, and Mexico.

About Me

I'm currently a Sophomore in the Honors College at maryland/towson">towson-university">maryland/towson">Towson University. I am currently a business major. In addition to maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring and coursework I also am a part-time forklift driver at a small pallet company in downtown maryland/baltimore">Baltimore.

I love working with kids. I spent three summers of volunteer work as a Junior Counselor at a Summer Camp near my high school. I am the oldest of six children, and have spent many hours helping my younger siblings in their school work.

In my maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring, I avoid training the student to simply mimic my action. While I do find teaching by example effective, I also will help guide the student to a solution. When it comes to writing, I show the student how to employ appropriate variations in sentence structure and vocabulary. I believe that having knowledge is knowing the facts, but intelligence is knowing how to apply the facts. I implement this mindset into my maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring by helping the students acquire the tools they need to fully understand the material, and not just to pass a test.
