Fun Facts
I started doing hair when I was 8 years old, and I have never let it go since. My mom was a cosmetologist, and I would watch her at work; standing right under her as she worked. Paying attention to every detail, I believe this passion is what led me to l love science as much as I do.
About Me
I am a graduate of Georgia State University where I earned my Bachelor's of Biological Sciences. I am currently seeking Medical Master's programs with the goal of entrance into medical school.
Experience
While at Georgia State, I had the opportunity to work with high school students through a program called Upward Bound. I was able to tutor in multiple subjects, such as English and Human Anatomy, allowing me to not only sharpen my teaching skills, but my comprenhension skills as well. I have also worked with cothe SSS-STEM, Student Support Services-Science Techonoloy Engineering and Math Majors. In this program, I was able to lead more students into stem majors, while helping them succeco
Approach
As a student in middle school to high school, academics was always my strong suit. I did not realize that I was never truly academically challenged until college. I realized that my study skills were not the best, which hindered me from creating a foundation for the material I was being taught. With my students, I show them how to recognize the patterns of the basics, and grasping the importance of the basics can help you to grasp any problem you approach.

Biology I Tutoring
Throughout my college career, I taken introductory Biology courses, but also upper level Biology courses, such as Immunology, and parasitology. I have been exposed to multiple disciplines of science.

Microbiology Tutoring
I have taken microbiology as well as medical microbiology at the collegiate level, and did well in both courses. In my everyday work, I am able to apply what I know keeping my knowledge sharp.
Organic Chemistry I Tutoring
When I started in Organic I, it was tough and difficult to figure out the correct way to study. Nonetheless, I did not give up ,and Iobtained an A in the course; giving me the opportunity to tutor college students. I was able to translate the material better and show them the correct way to grasp the materials.
