I graduated cum laude from UT Arlington in May 2011. All my life, I have wanted to be a teacher. I strongly believe that all students can learn. As a certified teacher and a mentor, I hope to motivate students in utilizing their inner strengths and abilities. Free and open interaction among and between the teacher and the student is one of the most important components of a supportive learning environment. About Me
I am currently employed with Fort Worth ISD as a Title I instructor, where I work at private schools under the NESI program to arlington">tutor students who struggle in math and reading. I work with K-8th graders consistently.
I have earned valuable arlington">tutoring experience working with children grades 1-8 at Huntington Learning Center, where I tutored one on one with students who need help with phonics, reading, writing, and mathematics. I have also taught multiple classrooms as the long term substitute for 5th graders at Sagamore Hill Elementary.
In addition, having student taught at James Bowie High School in Arlington, Texas, I have had the experience of working with students of all learning levels and diverse needs. I stayed before and after school to arlington">tutor students who needed extra help. With my experience as an AVID arlington">tutor at James Bowie High School in Arlington, I have enjoyed supporting the academic, career, personal and social goals of college-bound students.
