About Me
I am a 2010 graduate of UT Austin with a Bachelor's in Finance. I am currently returning to UT to pursue a Master's in science/texas/austin">Computer Science. My goal is to become a software engineer for an innovative company so I can develop cutting-edge software technology.
I have had experience austin">tutoring middle school Algebra to students. I have also helped countless others in study groups for LSAT and SAT Test Prep, as well as Calculus courses. My LSAT score was in the 90th percentile and my SAT score was in the 98th percentile. I am excited about austin">tutoring because I appreciate that moment of understanding when everything clicks and I want to bring that to my mentees.
I believe it is important to figure out what you want in life and then strive to reach that goal. Therefore, my mentoring approach is all about motivation. The best motivation is self-motivation and I believe a person has to understand how doing well on tests or getting good grades allows him or her to have a better life in the future. Even so, sometimes studying can still be tough so I try to make learning interesting by using applicable examples and visual representations.
