Fun Facts

If somebody knows me, they are likely to know that I love dance. I am trained to do Bhangra and Bollywood dances. I have been dancing even since elementary school. I like listening to hindi songs while doing my homework which isn’t a good habit however it works for me. Not a lot of people know this but I am really good at drawing. I love traveling around. It doesn’t have to be out of country. I like going to parks and beaches around my house. I am not very good at swimming however I love it.

About Me

I am a freshmen at San Jose State University. My major is biological science with concentration in physiology. I have earned three Student of the Month awards, three departmental awards and three academic excellence awards in my high school career at Santa Clara High School.

Experience

I currently tutor at Best Brains, Berryessa and two middle school students in my neighborhood. I have tutored two another middle school students for 2 years during my high school career.

Approach

My teaching style isn’t like a traditional teacher or professor. Instead, I try to study the material with the student. I usually go through the leactrie notes or textbook material with the student firstly and then I make a study guide with them. For example, for circulatory system I would make the heart and then label the parents. Under the labeled parts, I would write down their functions etc.
