Born in Germany but a true Texan at heart, I'm a recent college grad who loves track, a good book, and queso on anything (and everything). I am the older sister to two brothers and a sweet black lab named Charlie. I pride myself on being amiable, silly, and good with directions!

About Me

New to the Dallas area, I am a Trinity University grad who grew up in Germany, Colorado, and Austin. I received Magna Cum Laude honors with a 3.83 GPA and have double majors in Business Administration (concentration in International Business) and German. My first job out of school was an analyst at a commercial real estate firm, but I have recently made the switch to project management at a retail graphics company. Years down the road I would love to end up as a math teacher and track coach at the high school level.

Math has always been a passion of mine, and I believe I have a knack for making the concepts as simple and easy-to-understand as possible for those who are struggling or wanting to improve their skills. Throughout high school I always loved when classmates would come to me with help on homework, and being able to explain the solutions not only improved their skills, but mine as well. During my time at Trinity I volunteered as a Math Mentor at Mark Twain Middle School during my Sophomore year, and also worked as a dallas">tutor at Henry Metzger Middle School for the spring of my Senior year. Math has always been a fun subject for me and I want to continue to pass that along to others!

I have worked with students from 6th-11th grade, and feel comfortable in a 1-on-1 environment or group setting. Helping the students understand the process and not just that the answer is correct is very important to me, as I believe that having a solid mathematical foundation is vital to success in many aspects of life, both during and after school. I believe my teaching style to be patient, encouraging, and interactive, and working with kids (especially on math) is something I truly love to do!
