Meeting new people, trying new foods, learning new languages, and seeing the world are my passions. I LOVE to eat. About Me

I am a current senior at New York University in the College of Arts and Science. I am an Economics major with a Business minor, although I started out as a Biology and Economics major on the pre-med track, so I've pretty much covered all my bases. I have a 3.6 GPA in my major and am involved in several extracurricular activities. I am a dancer, I volunteer weekly, and I am a member of my school's cultural club. After graduation, I will be a first year analyst at JPMorgan in Midtown NYC.

Although I have no formal manhattan">tutoring experience, I have informally tutored many friends, classmates, and family members on topics ranging from Algebra to Environmental Studies. I myself have been tutored, especially for the SAT and ACT, and therefore have picked up several unique and effective methods of teaching. I am extremely patient and understanding, two qualities I think are vital for a manhattan">tutor.

I think in order for any manhattan">tutoring relationship to work, it is necessary for the manhattan">tutor and the tutee to have an open line of communication, trust, and understanding. I would begin with getting to know the tutee, his/her goals, and get a gauge of their starting point and how much they are willing to work. Then after the initial assessment, I would review the necessary materials and begin with their weakest point or wherever they think they need to work the hardest on. From there we would work together to break through the problems they are having and through time, commitment, and practice, help them succeed and reach their goals.
