Fun Facts
I started receiving Spanish lessons in 3rd grade, and stayed with it ever since! To this day I am still constantly challenging myself to learn new vocabulary on a daily basis.
About Me
I have a substitute teaching certificate, and have passed the Arizona Educator Proficiency Assessment test for Spanish teachers; an Arizona requirement before being allowed to teach Spanish in public schools. Teaching has always been my passion, but along the way I've had a diverse background, including spending many years as a radio station program director & disc jockey, managing a band, and managing an independent record label. Besides teaching, I also do consultation work for radio stations.

Approach
I've always clearly remembered those "light bulb moments" when I was first learning Spanish; those moments when understanding how Spanish works suddenly became clear, and made learning so much fun. I always try to create those moments of encouragement for my students, so that they feel good about their progress, and the learning becomes fun!
