I enjoy gardening and would like to someday have an outdoor garden. I have a huge Golden Retriever mix.

About Me

I am a teacher and tutor. I'm completing my 3rd year as an ELA teacher. Currently, I hold a B.S. in Psychology from Texas A&M University and an M.A. in Psychological Research for Texas State University. Also, I have Texas teaching certifications in 4-8, education/texas/missouri-city">special education, and ESL (supplemental).

Experience

During my 9 years of working in education, I've had the opportunity to teach students language arts and reading skills. I've also served as a tutor to all grade levels and a college adviser to high school students.

Approach

I believe that every child has the ability to succeed. I believe every student needs someone who holds them to high standards and shows care as well.
