Fun Facts
From a young child I have always loved to swim, I might just have been a mermaid in a prior life. My two babies are a 10 month old Bulldog puppy named Charlie Brown and a 3 year old Chihuahua mix named Chicken. When I'm not tutoring, playing with my pups or keeping up on current events, I spend time painting rocks for the Kindness Project where we hide the rocks for people to find in unusual places. I enjoy knowing that somewhere out there someone is smiling at something that I've created.
About Me
Along with tutoring children, those who are with Special Needs and also Typical, I also assist a local Chef as his Administrative Assistant. I plan on pursuing a Masters in Education in the next year. I also spend time with adults teaching English as a second language.
Experience
Currently I tutor two children virtually that have Special Needs, Autism and ADHD.
When I lived in California I tutored local neighbors to speak and write in English; those who were born in mainly Spanish and Farsi speaking countries. Additionally, I tutored several children, assisting with Creative Writing aspirations that they had. I look forward to collaborating with Frog Tutoring, tutoring English, Special Needs, Creative Writing and ESL.
Approach
As a tutor my main goal with my student is keeping the interested in the material that we are working with. I like to give real world examples that each student can relate to, individually. With my warm and friendly nature I focus on using a positive attitude that helps to boost my student's self esteem.

Sociology and English
Child Development Tutoring
I received grades of 4.0 in all Child Development courses.
The courses that I've taken in this area are: "Child, Family and Community Interrelationships" and Principles and Practices of Teaching Young Children.
English Tutoring
I have taken English I and Creative Writing courses and have received 4.0 grades in these courses.
ESL Tutoring
I have tutored many Spanish, Farsi and Hebrew speaking children and adults to learn English and second language. This is one of the areas that specifically really enjoy tutoring.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
As I have gotten high marks in the majority of the English courses that I have completed and have worked with both children and adults to learn English as a second language I am experienced with Reading Comprehension.
Sociology Tutoring
I have successfully completed many Sociology courses and have enjoyed all of them:" Introductory Sociology", "Culture and Personality", "Sociology of Deviance", "Family" and more. This courses have allowed me to learn to work with at-risk children.
Writing Tutoring
I have taken Creative Writing at received 3.5 grades. I have also taken many private writing courses at the YMCA, bookstores and local community centers both in California and Arizona. iThis is another subject that especially enjoy tutoring.
