One thing I love to do is play volleyball! I have played since I was 13 years old. I have played grass, sand, indoor, outdoor. Any type of volleyball I just love! I love to sing and play with my children. I have 4 boys and hope have a girl!

About Me

I have been a teacher for 6 years. I have worked with all grade levels. I love to learn and enjoy watching others learn too. I have my Masters in education/missouri/kansas-city">Special Education and have taught ESL online. My goal is to go back to school and become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Experience

I have been a tutor for the past 3 years and have also done homebound for all age levels. Homebound is when a student is unable to come to school due to a medical, physical, or mental reason and needs a teacher to come to their house and teach them. I have coached volleyball for 10 years and had an undefeated season this past year.

Approach

I have learned that every student is different and learns at a different pace and through different methods. No one person fits a certain mold and should not be treated as such. I think it's important to get to know each student's learning styles and how the best learn in order to help them when things might be difficult. I think it's also important to not only teach the student the material, but to teach the student ways for them to find the material on their own eventually.
