Fun Facts
I can usually be found reading in my room from my small collection of sci-fi and fantasy narratives. Otherwise, I am usually studying or tutoring my little sister who has just entered high school. I have family all over the world, although I hardly ever leave New York. I could talk for hours about my favorite book or movie, which include everything from superhero to detective thrillers.
About Me
I am a junior attending the NYU Tandon School of Engineering as a Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering major. I hope to obtain my Master's after I graduate in 2020 and go on to an occupation in the Chemical Engineering field.
Experience
During my high school years, I spent time volunteering at the Brooklyn Public Library Cortelyou Branch where I held tutoring and art sessions for children. Afterwards, I tutored for a private tutorial, now known as APEX tutoring for a few years, teaching high school level chemistry, biology, earth science and math. While I had to stop in order to focus more on my academics, I acquired a real love for teaching and hope to rekindle that fire.
Approach
I spent the first five years of my academic life learning oversees where the approach to teaching was quite different and very rigorous. After coming here I learned it really is the instructor that makes all the difference and I've had the opportunity to learn under many different individuals. From them, I've learned how important the role is and what qualities are required to effectively teach.

Chemistry I Tutoring
I have taken this level of chemistry in high school and received a 4 on the AP exam. I took a similar course in college and revived an A grade. Now I am taking higher level chemistry courses such as Organic Chemistry as a Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering major.
Math Tutoring
I've taken AP Calculus in high school, a college-level math class. I took it further in college with Calculus II and III as well as advanced physics and engineering classes in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering major.
Organic Chemistry I Tutoring
I've taken an introductory, college-level Organic Chemistry class in senior year of high school, as well as Organic Chemistry I and Organic Chemistry II in college, receiving A grades both times. I believe this to be one of my strongest areas of expertise.
Trigonometry Tutoring
I finished trigonometry in high school, receiving high grades in all my exams including the final class grade.
Algebra Tutoring
I received high grades in all my exams as well as my final class grade. I also went on to take Trigonometry and AP Calculus in high school and higher level calculus in college. I recently finished Calculus III.
AP Chemistry Tutoring
I received high grades on my exams as well as the final course grade. I also received a 4 on the AP Chemistry exam and a high grade on the SAT Chemistry Subject Exam. I went on to take Organic Chemistry and Kinetics in my senior year. I am now working towards my Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering degree in college.
Chemistry Tutoring
I received high grades in all my high school chemistry exams and started taking AP Chemistry, a college level course, in my junor year. I then went on to take Organic Chemistry in my senior year, both times doing very well in my exams and final course grade. I am now working towards my Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering degree in college.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I did very well in my Pre Calculus class, keeping all grades above 90 including my exams and final course grade. I went on to take AP Calculus, a college-level course the next year and have recently finished my Calculus III course.
SAT Math Tutoring
In the past, my SAT math score has always been close to perfect every time I had taken the exam. I have also spent over a year teaching SAT math at a previous tutorial.
Math Advance Tutoring
By the end of high school, I had finished Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry as well as AP Calculus, a college-level course. I received grades that translate to A grades in the letter system. It was the same with my regents grades, except in Geometry, I had a perfect score of 100. I went on to an engineering major in college and have just completed Calculus III.
Middle School Math Tutoring
By the end of high school, I had finished Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry as well as AP Calculus, a college-level course. I received grades that translate to A grades in the letter system. It was the same with my regents grades, except in Geometry, I had a perfect score of 100. I went on to an engineering major in college and have just completed Calculus III.
Science Tutoring
By the end of high school, I had finished all the major sciences including Earth Science, Living Environment Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I took college-level science courses such as Organic Chemistry and AP Physics in my junior and senior years. I am now a Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering major in college.
ACT Math Tutoring
By the end of high school, I had finished Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry as well as AP Calculus, a college-level course. I received grades that translate to A grades in the letter system. It was the same with my regents grades, except in Geometry, I had a perfect score of 100. I went on to an engineering major in college and have just completed Calculus III.
Regents Tutoring
All of my regents grades are translated to grade A in the letter system. I am especially confident in my math and science regents grades because I went on to take the advanced courses of those classes in my senior year of high school.
Geometry Tutoring
I received high grades on all exams, the final class grade, as well as a perfect 100 on the regents at the end of the course.
