Fun Facts

One thing that everyone gets to know about me after a short time is that I constantly like to be on the go. I always like to have something to do, some things that i love are art, music, trying new foods, and going to new interesting places. I am fascinated by culture and anything foreign to me. I also love to do community service and go to school, they are what rule the majority of my time.

About Me

I am currently a Freshman attending the University of Utah; I am a Pre-Med Anthropology major with a health emphasis. I have been on the Deans list through concurrent enrollment for a year with a 3.85 GPA. After i graduate i plan to go to Medical school,and specialize in Radiation Oncology.

During my high school education at The Academy for Math Engineering and Science, the number two school in the state 2012. I was a Math tutor for Algebra II, Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus. I also began tutoring Chemistry and University of Utah Chemistry I students during my senior year.

My experience with tutoring is that students often focus too much on getting the right answer rather than the process and meaningful understanding of the concept. Memorizing mass amounts of information while not understanding that information may work in lower classes but will not work later on. Once a student understands why, what, and how something occurs, they arrive at the answer naturally.
